Retrospective Larry Cohen at the Cinematheque Francaise
Larry Cohen was an American film director best known for his satirical horror films about American society. Catch cult classics The Stuff (1985), God Told Me To (1976), Special Effects (1984), and much more.

Retrospective Fritz Lang at the Cinematheque Francaise
Another thorough retrospective at the Cinematheque focuses on prolific German director Fritz Lang. Films such as Die Nibelungen Parts 1 & 2, Spies (1928), The Testament of Dr. Mabuse (1933) and more will be available to watch on the big screen.

POP DARK at Bar Tony Collectif SSD
Bar Tony resident Saul Adamczewski (Fat White Family, Insecure Men) and David Sink (POP DARK, Intervision) will deliver a live performance of “ambient noise core taken out of the depths of their spirits”. Beginning the evening is another live performance by BossOLa, a South East London based performer with a plethora of projects under his belt.

Edvard Munch: A Poem of Life, Love and Death at the Musée d’Orsay
The Musée d’Orsay is organizing an exhibition on Norwegian artist Edvard Munch in collaboration with the Munch Museum in Norway. The exhibition feature roughly 100 of Munch’s works in various mediums. Reduced tickets from €11.

Chinese/Lunar New Year celebrations
Lunar New Year is on the 22nd of January, while some parades are delayed to a week later. The largest Lunar New Year parade will begin in the Quartier Asiatique in the 13th arrondissement, at 1:30 PM on rue du Disque. Other free events such as performances and exhibitions will take place as well.
