Selected Works: Sarah Glavan
With the recent rise of populism, Europeans often turn a blind eye on values like freedom, equality or human dignity of the European Union. Simultaneously, nationalist tendencies are increasing in many EU countries. The Interrail ticket, which allows young people to travel cheaply by train through Europe, is one of those rare opportunities where adolescence can broaden their horizon outside the boundaries of their own cultures. In the two videos “What Interrail taught us about Unity” and “What Interrail taught us about Freedom”, Sarah Loos, Ida Wagenhofer and Sarah Glavan share their conversations with people they encountered around Europe and what they learned about the meaning of unity and freedom.
