Frida Kahlo: Beyond Appearances at Palais Galliera

At the Palais Galliera an exhibition dedicated to the life and works of Frida Kahlo will be on view until March of next year. The exhibition, named “Beyond Appearances”, aims to explore the artist’s private life and who she was beyond cliches, how she constructed her identity and represented herself.

Shocking! The Surreal Worlds of Elsa Schiaparelli 

Currently showing At the MAD (Musée des Arts Décoratifs), Shocking! is an exhibition dedicated to the history of Elsa Schiaparelli, her life and work. The exhibition is not to be missed, given the brand’s immensely successful revival headed by Daniel Roseberry.

Salon de la photo - Photo Fair 2022

Making its return after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19 lockdown is Salon de la Photo. Taking place in the Grand Hall of la Villette, the largest event in France dedicated to photography will feature both professional videographers and photographers as well as amateurs, with workshops and masterclasses to learn more about the craft.

Centre Quatre Paris, a public cultural center, will be hosting a contemporary art fair with immersive exhibitions and activities.

Asia NOW 8th Annual expo

Asia NOW is an annual fair, dedicated to exploring the diverse art scenes from West Asia to Southeast Asia. This year’s fair will take place at Monnaie de Paris, a historic building that will host exhibitions, open air events, performances and more. The theme for this year’s Asia NOW is “Feux de Joie” (Flames of Joy), which “associates the arts of fire, emblematic of coinage and metalwork with the art of ceramics, also made from the earth and fire”.

Fête des Vendanges de Montmartre

The Montmartre Harvest Festival is an annual festival, taking place in the 18th arrondissement. Since 1934, wine and gastronomy have been the focal points of this festival, with live shows, exhibitions, parades, balls and of course, tastings of artisanal and local products.
