Selected Works: Kira Winter

Kira Winter is a 22 year old German artist who likes to explore fragmented and twisted portrayals of the human body while trying to remain allusive to gender, identity and even humanity. As a psychology student she is very influenced by the papers she reads and the research she conducts, being particularly drawn towards portraying interpersonal dynamics, sensory experiences and dream-like textured bodies and landscapes. The way she prefers her art to be seen is without any context or explanation, but rather for the audience to project their own meaning on to the drawing. She is intrigued by the idea that the same stimulus can create different reactions and associations for every individual, and wants everyone to find their own truth in her drawings.
